Whorton Insurance Services Announces the new Texas Apartment Association Safety Group Plan
Specifically designed for the Apartment Owners, Operators, Managers and Developers of Texas, is endorsed by The Texas Apartment Association (TAA). The Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) allows employers in similar businesses to form Safety groups to help reduce their workers’ compensation insurance premiums. The Administrator, Master Agent for the group will be Whorton Insurance Services (WIS) and underwritten by the Texas Mutual Insurance Company. All in the group will immediately be eligible for the 10.9% premium discount and must be a member of TAA.
Member may also qualify for Texas Mutual’s Individual Policy Holder Dividend as well as the TAA Group Safety Plan Dividend. Each member of the group will receive a Safety Program with a comprehensive safety manual, designed specifically for the Texas Apartment Owner, Operator, Manager or Developer.
Texas Mutual, a highly competitive provider of Workers Compensation Insurance in the Texas Marketplace, is the largest provider of Workers Compensation in Texas.
Texas Mutual Insurance Company underwrites the TAA Safety group, and Whorton Insurance Services, Austin, administers the program and is the Master Agent. Any licensed, Texas insurance agent can submit qualifying clients for membership. Texas Mutual Insurance Company notes that past dividends are not a guarantee of future dividends, and the Texas Department of Insurance must approve all dividends.
